What is so special about this case other than the baby being born prematurely?
Well, the fetus developed outside his mother's womb.

VIDEO: Cesarean section: The surgical operation

Cesarean deliveries are performed by Obstetricians for various indications. In the 5:08 long video that follows, one such surgical operation is done. There are two ways in which surgeons cut through the tummy of the pregnant mother. One is through the midline incision, and the other one--which is my favorite--is the Pfannenstiel method or more popularly called the 'Bikini cut'. If you're an expecting mother, watch this and hold no fear, the surgical team will always be at your best interest.

VIDEO: Robot-assisted operation for vaginal prolapse

It’s more common than you may think.

Vaginal prolapse (also called pelvic organ prolapse, or vaginal organ prolapse) is what happens when organs inside the pelvis fall, bulge or protrude into the vaginal wall. This condition is due to weakened muscles or ligaments that can occur from a number of causes, including childbirth, previous surgeries, and obesity. If you have signs and symptoms of vaginal prolapse, learning more about this condition (and discovering you have options!) can lead to a better way of life.

The 4:39 long video shows how the surgical procedure goes. Watch it.

VIDEO: Ectopic pregnancy removed by high-tech operation

An ectopic pregnancy is a complication of pregnancy in which the pregnancy implants outside the uterine cavity or the womb. With rare exceptions, ectopic pregnancies are not viable. Furthermore, they are dangerous for the mother, internal bleeding being a common complication. Most ectopic pregnancies occur in the Fallopian tube (so-called tubal pregnancies), but implantation can also occur in the cervix, ovaries, and abdominal area. An ectopic pregnancy is a potential medical emergency, and, if not treated properly, can lead to death.

Male liposuction (VIDEO)

Traditionally, figure-refining cosmetic surgical procedures such as liposuction have been associated with women; however, it is becoming increasingly common for men to undergo liposuction and many other body sculpting procedures. In fact, according to the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS), 12 percent of the liposuction procedures performed in the United States in 2005 were performed on male patients. As a growing number of men turn to plastic surgery to refine their appearance, male liposuction promises to become an even more popular cosmetic surgery option.

The nose knows (VIDEO)

Rhinoplasty (Greek: Rhinos, "Nose" + Plassein, "to shape") is a surgical procedure which is usually performed by either an otolaryngologist (head and neck surgeon), maxillofacial surgeon, or plastic surgeon in order to improve the function (reconstructive surgery) or the appearance (cosmetic surgery) of a human nose. Rhinoplasty is also commonly called "nose reshaping" or "nose job". Rhinoplasty can be performed to meet aesthetic goals or for reconstructive purposes to correct trauma, birth defects or breathing problems. Rhinoplasty can be combined with other surgical procedures such as chin augmentation to enhance the aesthetic results.

Tummy Tuck and breast enlargement procedure

The video below shows Tummy Tuck surgical operation. Also, known as abdominoplasty, this major surgical procedure flattens the abdomen by removing extra fat and skin, and tightening muscles in the abdominal wall.

A tummy tuck is suitable for both men and women who are in good general health overall. It should not be confused with a liposuction (the cosmetic surgery used to remove fat deposits), although the surgeon may elect to perform liposuction as part of a tummy tuck. Women who have muscles and skin stretched by multiple pregnancies may find the procedure useful to tighten those muscles and reduce that skin.

A tummy tuck is also an alternative for men or women who were obese at one point in their lives and still have excessive fat deposits or loose skin in the abdominal area.

For women who would like larger breasts for cosmetic reasons, there is breast augmentation surgery, which places implants under the breast tissue or chest muscle to increase the breast size. Women who have small breasts, or whose breasts have lost their fullness after pregnancy or weight loss, may be candidates for breast implants.

The normal female pelvis

LAPAROSCOPIC EXPLORATION OF THE NORMAL FEMALE PELVIS
In this short video clip (1:53), the normal anatomy of the female reproductive organs are explored using laparoscopy--a highly-specialized procedure that creates small holes in the abdomen. This is in great contrast with the traditional laparotomy procedure that incises that abdominal wall. You will see normal female organs such as the non-pregnant uterus, fallopian tubes, ovaries and other structures.
